OMG I just moved into my house on Thursday and canNOT walk past the basement at night EVEN WITH the door closed. My whole body just screams no in an unnatural way

That last bit with Molly reminded me about a few years back my roommate was passing my bedroom door at like three in the morning in the pitch dark and apparently I just started screaming at the top of my lungs for a minute or two (I was asleep, I only remember like the last few seconds of the screaming) freaking her out and waking my wife up. When they got me awake and to stop screaming, I was still really sleep and I vaguely remember looking around, saying sorry, and then promptly fell back asleep. The wife and roommate however were up for the day because it's hard to sleep when your blood is pure adrenaline.
