Your works, despite how personal their nature is, are always able to speak to parts of me that I hardly thought others could relate to. For that, I thank you.

Happy birthday to come, and-- thank you for these metaphors on climbing, and these posts, I- I think they bring me something important about not hurting myself in pushing endlessly toward some hypothetical summit, and, enjoying the rest of it too. It's hard, these days, but, thank you so much for your helping words.

Congratulations on 31! It's big and small. When I turned 30 it was more or less nothing. When I turned 31 it was small. When I turned 32 it was, in a way, big, but in a very small and personal way. The number and the age didnt matter, but it mattered a lot to me to just be here. And to know I wanted to be here longer and see more later.

Happy early Birthday!! It's weird, I continue to be afraid of getting older (turned 30 in October), but the older I've grown, the happier I've become. Glad to see you're happier as well!

Happy early Birthday Nate and Happy New Year to you and Molly!

I really relate to this comic - I've been doing a lot of self-reflection this past year, understanding the "whys" of my anxiety/depression/RSD and getting to a point where I work with them all now.
