This is so well-timed, I only realized I was bisexual this past February, after having strong feelings for my best friend for SEVEN MONTHS (she’s my girlfriend now ^v^)
Yeh I waffle between bi (bc we always need that rep) and omnisexuality, which nestles in that place between bi and pan. Bc pan is very, 'gender doesn't matter, only love', and to some of us, gender is a thing we love very much - and while the gender of who we love doesn't define or limit *who* we love, we do also know that gender is something that is important to people, that brings euphoria, and we respect everyone's genders and the beautiful wide spectrum of gender which they can inhabit.
I love this epiphany for you, ND!! 🩷💜🩵 I noticed in “She-Ra” that quite a few of your characters read as bisexual — Glimmer (who was literally always dressed in the colors of the bi flag lol), Bow, Sea Hawk, Mermista, Perfuma, and others — but never officially used the word “bi” in the show! Perhaps the characters would also have similar epiphanies about their identities at some point!
I suspected given you’re bigender and Lee coming out and everything…not to speculate on other people’s sexualities or genders or the terms that feel right for them…that’s for you to decide and feel out. And obviously can change over time! Gender can be so fluid, and honestly sexuality too. Sometimes it can be hard to change labels if you got used to using a particular one for so long…but life is an ever-evolving thing! Congrats on coming out (again), lol!
